HEAT ADVISORY - KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Yuma. It is very important as pet parents that we keep our pets safe and cool during this heat. If you think your pet is suffering from heat stroke, get it to a vet as soon as possible. WE ALWAYS RECOMMEND KEEPING YOUR PETS INSIDE. If you can't, make sure there is plenty of unspillable water and shade. Kiddie pools and misters are also great ways to keep your pets cool.

  • Laundry soap
  • Office supplies
  • Plastic dog toys all sizes
  • Dog and cat food
  • Canned dog food
  • Non-clumping cat litter
  • Paper towels

Any of these items you can drop off at our shelter ( 285 N Figueroa Ave) would be much appreciated.
